The Desktop MK320 is a low-cost notebook set that comes with a travel-ready mouse, a full-size keyboard, with an enhanced wireless connection. The keyboard has two extra shortcut keys, along with all the standard keys. There’s a key that permits switching between your home page and email om top of music shortcuts and any other open apps you may have. There are also two special function keys for powering off and on, and also locking the PC. The keyboard is resistant to liquid spills, something you’ll hopefully never attempt to prove. The mouse is the same size as any regular notebook mouse. The wireless mouse works okay with either hand, and comes with well designed left and right buttons, as well as a scrolling wheel. The receiver snaps onto the mouse just above where the ON/OFF switch is.
Under the mouth you can see the battery cover. Since theDesktop MK320 is meant more to be used with a laptop than a desktop computer, the mouse doesn’t come with the page front and back buttons. Battery life is good, with the keyboard having a battery life of 15 months and 5 months for the mouse. However, the battery life can vary depending on the use of the keyboard and mouse, and it is difficult to say how well the batteries that come with the product will last. The mouse comes with a battery life indicator; the keyboard doesn’t have it.
One way that you can use the keyboard is to watch TV programs with the laptop on the desk and being able to control everything with the keyboard from your couch.
On top of the handy shortcuts and great battery life, the Logitech MK320, you’ll appreciate how the receiver snaps directly onto the mouse, and the fact that the keyboard is, in fact, spill-proof. In addition, I like the way the mouse’s battery cover firmly keeps the battery inside the mouse. The cover is not likely to pop off without pressing on the release button. The fact that the batteries aren’t rechargeable is a minor downside. Two other small drawbacks are the absence of a battery indicator light on the wireless keyboard and back and front buttons on the mouse.
The Desktop MK320 by Logitech will work well with desktop computers, but even better with laptop computers, for which it is specifically created.
