invention computer wheels dynamo?
I have had a few invention ideas today and wanted to know if any would work. If i attached wheels onto my computer, the idea is that i could take for a walk which could charge it up (dynamo), so that it could be used anywhere, alternativly it could just be a wind up laptop, but i like taking things for walks, what do you think
Nice idea, but you should consider that your laptop will use something in the region of 70 Watt. That’s quite a dynamo to drag around with you….! Unless you want to crank for 3 hours to get 20 minutes of computer usage out of the battery.
They are presently “inventing” a wind-up computer for developing countries, but the computer had to be completely re-designed (like Operating system and applications in the ROM – no disc drive, and a small display) to save on power consumption.

You won’t get a Patent on your idea anyway, connecting a dynamo to a Laptop is an application, not an invention.
